About The AfroDiscourse

The AfroDiscourse aims to do three things:

1.     Articulate in metaphysical terms the worldview of African peoples (that is, peoples living on the African continent) and, in this way, discover the profound openness of African cultures to the truth of the Gospel.

2.     Uncover the implications of the Christian faith for these metaphysical views and thus pave the way for the profound evangelization that, after 2,000 years, has yet to be seen on the face of this beloved continent.

3.     Study the insights that these metaphysical views can offer to Christian faith and praxis.

The AfroDiscourse publishes articles that address one or more of these objectives. For that reason, the scope of the AfroDiscourse is broad, encompassing every aspect of the life of African peoples that may be said to be part of, to express, or to otherwise illuminate their worldview.
